Euresearch is a non-profit organisation funded by the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation SERI. We promote and facilitate the participation of researchers, organisations and companies in Switzerland in European projects and programmes related to research and innovation. Our services are free of charge and provide information and guidance on cooperation and funding opportunities.

We inform, advise and connect anybody in Switzerland interested in EU Funding Programmes for Research and Innovation.
Researchers or any other interested party in Switzerland can request information on funding opportunities tailored to their specific research and collaboration goals or needs. We provide support every step of the way for the whole application process, ranging from your search for research partners and relevant research topics, to writing a proposal and submitting your application to the chosen funding scheme. We advise you throughout the various phases of project management and assist you with any administrative questions. In addition, our advisors offer training sessions and relevant workshops for applicants as well as specific events and services for companies. We connect researchers based in or coming to Switzerland and keep you updated on any upcoming calls for proposals and opportunities within the European research and innovation programmes.

Our Regional Offices are located all over Switzerland, hosted by universities, Federal Institutes of Technology and universities of applied sciences. These are your first point of contact for all your initial inquiries. The Euresearch Regional Offices have advisors who are familiar with the European funding opportunities and the specifics of their own institution, as well as company advisors who offer dedicated support to businesses.
The Network Office, on the other hand, is the operational centre of the Euresearch Association under the leadership of the Director Francesco Kienzle. The Network Office comprises all the National Contact Points (NCPs), who specialise in the various topics and areas of the European research and innovation programmes, and are familiar with the corresponding European networks.

Euresearch operates offices throughout Switzerland with a Network Office based in Bern. The Regional Offices serve as the primary point of contact for all matters related to research and innovation. The Network Office hosts the National Contact Points (NCPs are appointed by the Swiss government to give you advice on Horizon Europe) and coordinates central network services.
