EIC Transition

The EIC Transition is a funding programme which supports different ways of bringing a future technology closer to the market.

It supports both the maturation of your novel technology from the experimental proof of concept (technology readiness level TRL 3/4) to demonstration in relevant application environments (TRL 5/6), as well as explorations and development of a sustainable business case towards commercialisation into high potential markets.

Your proposal must build on results already achieved within an eligible project. The detailed description for the eligibility criteria of projects is found on p50 here.

You can apply for EIC Transition either as a single legal entity established in a Member State MS or an Associated Country AC, or a small consortium of two independent legal entities from two different
MS or AC, or a consortium of three and maximum five independent legal entities following standard rules.

Budget per project max 2.5 million EUR.
Apply as 1, 2, 3 max 5 partners.

Types of actions:

EIC Transition calls are “Research and Innovation Actions”. Eligible costs will take the form of a lump sum.
