IHI Call 11 – Eligibility for Swiss Applicants

The Innovative Health Initiative (IHI) call 11 opened on 17 June with five topics. Swiss legal entities are eligible to participate, but they cannot receive funding from IHI JU under this call. They may take part as associated partners at their own cost.

This is because call 11 is funded from earlier Horizon Europe budget years, prior to Switzerland’s association. Under Horizon Europe rules, countries cannot access funds from years before their association — making Swiss entities ineligible for EU funding in this call.

SERI does not provide national funding for 2025 Horizon Europe calls, including IHI call 11.
