Now Open: DEP Calls with Updated Deadlines & Swiss Co-Funding

From the 2025 call year onwards, researchers and innovators in Switzerland can participate as beneficiaries in the Digital Europe Programme (DEP). This means you can submit project proposals as coordinators for the following calls – please note the updated deadlines:

DIGITAL-2025-AI-08 : 2 October 2025 17:00 CEST
DIGITAL-2025-SKILLS-08  : 2 October 2025 17:00 CEST
DIGITAL-2025-BESTUSE-08 : 2 September 2025 17:00 CEST

National Co-Funding Available

The State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI) may provide up to 50% national co-funding for Swiss participants in the following calls:

High Performance Computing: HORIZON-EUROHPC-JU-2025-AIFA-01

Artificial Intelligence: Testing genAI4EU application at scale and under real-world condition (work programme, page 67) and Virtual worlds test beds (work programme, page 73)

Advanced Digital Skills:
DIGITAL-2025-SKILLS-08-GENAI-ACADEMY-STEP
DIGITAL-2025-SKILLS-08-QUANTUM-ACADEMY-STEP
DIGITAL-2025-SKILLS-08-VIRTUAL-WORLDS-ACADEMY-STEP

Funding is subject to the budget approved by the Federal Council and Parliament and will be shared equally among successful Swiss participants.
