Support for Regions and Communities to Create Their Climate Adaptation Plans
The Pathways2Resilience (P2R) project has launched its second call for regions and communities, open until 20 August 2025. As part of this EU-funded initiative, 61 new regions or communities will be selected to join the P2R portfolio, each receiving up to €210 000 in sub-grants, along with a comprehensive 18-month capacity-building programme.
P2R is a flagship initiative under the EU Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change, coordinated by Climate-KIC and implemented by a consortium of 14 organisations over five years.
P2R supports regions and communities across Europe in accelerating their climate adaptation efforts through guidance on frameworks such as the Regional Resilience Journey and the Adaptation Investment Cycle. Selected applicants will co-design tailored resilience strategies, action plans, and investment roadmaps with expert support.
This second call aims to build a diverse and representative portfolio of over 100 European regions, prioritising vulnerability and diversity in the selection process. Swiss regions are eligible for this call.
