EIT Higher Education Initiative Call for Proposals Launched

The European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) Higher Education Initiative Call for Proposals 2025 has been officially launched – with up to €70 million in funding and up to €2 million per project available.
This year’s call supports bold, cross-sector collaboration to drive long-term innovation in higher education.

Focus areas:
- Innovation & entrepreneurship in STEM
- Strategic collaboration between European University alliances and the EIT ecosystem

Eligible consortia must include:
- 3 HEIs from 3 different countries
- 1 business partner
- 1 additional non-HEI partner (e.g. NGO, research institute, public body, etc.)

There is no maximum number of partners. So think big, be bold, and start shaping your proposal now.
