2027 European Prize for Women Innovators now open

The 2027 European Prize for Women Innovators, jointly awarded by the European Innovation Council (EIC) and the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), is now open for applications. The prize recognises women entrepreneurs who have turned their ideas into disruptive innovations with a positive impact on society and the environment. 

Swiss-based women innovators are eligible to apply.

Applications are open until 1 December 2026, 17:00 CET. The prize includes three categories: Women Innovators, Rising Innovators and EIT Women Leadership.

An online info session will take place on 17 September 2026, from 11:00 to 12:00 CEST, covering the prize categories, award criteria and application process.
