Climate KIC

Climate KIC

Climate KIC is Europe’s leading climate innovation agency and community, supporting cities, regions, countries and industries to meet their climate ambitions through systems innovation and place-based transformations.

The EIT Climate KIC was initiated in 2010 by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) as one of the first EIT Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KICs). As of 2025, Climate KIC has transitioned to an independent entity, no longer operating under the EIT KIC framework. Through a Memorandum of Understanding with the EIT, Climate KIC will continue to collaborate and sustain its innovation ecosystem, ensuring continuity and impact across Europe.
